August 2020 Update

We are continuing to monitor case numbers and information about best practices on how to reopen our office safely. There are a number of factors that are unique to counseling to consider when evaluating how to proceed.

At this time we believe teletherapy is the best option to meet client needs while reducing COVID-19 risk.

We very much look forward to the time when we will resume in-person services. We will continue to monitor local conditions and evaluate recommended precautions with the goal of resuming in-person services in mind.

For more information about teletherapy, please reference the announcement below from March.

Monday 3/23/20 Announcement

In an effort to support healthcare workers in their fight against COVID-19, we are practicing social distancing.

We are open and continuing appointments as scheduled.

We have been encouraging clients to temporarily transition to online counseling sessions through our client portal, Jituzu. This platform provides the ability for counselor and client to meet via secure videoconferencing.

Effective 3/24/20, we ask that all sessions proceed online until further notice.

Clients who are not active in the client portal will receive invitations to join, so please follow instructions from Jituzu. This set up should take a few minutes so please complete this step before your scheduled appointment.

For more information about this option contact your therapist at viewpoint@counselingsecure.com

Change is uncomfortable. We will get through this time together.

June 2021 Update

We are now offering both teletherapy and in-person sessions.

We request that masks are worn in the waiting room to protect those still vulnerable to COVID-19. Masks are optional in the therapist's office.

We also request that if you have symptoms of illness that you either defer to meeting via teletherapy or reschedule* your appointment.

*with at least 24 hours' notice as outlined in our cancellation policy found in your intake paperwork
